An African country of celebration, music, festivals and night life.

The DRC has a number of unique tourist opportunities, including wildlife reserves, indigenous cultures, and geological wonders not found easily or anywhere else in Africa. Twelve percent of the country is made up of protected areas including 7 national parks and 57 reserves areas, with great ecotourism potential. The DRC has four endemic species including Mountain Gorillas, Okapi, Bonobos, and the Congolese peacock. Moreover, the country has a unique variety of species in its ecosystem covering almost 145 million hectares. It is the cheapest place in Africa to have a truly incredible and totally unmanufactured journey, and by far the cheapest place to see the large African wildlife.

What Congo offers?

Congo has not been a classic tourist destination since the 60’s, and has over the past 30 years been the preserve of the most daring or adventurous of travelers and businessmen…but that Congo no longer exists. Despite troubles in the Great Lakes district, thousands of miles from Kinshasa and Brazzaville and away near Goma and the borders of Rwanda, the region around the inlet and path of the great Congo River, and its forests, volcanoes, and mountains rippling out and sprawling ever eastward, constitute some of the most beautiful riches of Africa in resources, but moreover – in amazing scenery, beauty, and wildlife.

Brazza Memorial In Congo: This gleaming memorial houses the mortal remains of Pierre Savorgnan de Brazza who was the founder of the city. There are no admission charges to this memorial. Brazzavaille: Children will build lifelong memories here with visits to the two great forest reserves. Viewing the many endangered animals will also delight them. The colorful city of Brazzaville also has several attractions for children.

Odzala National Park In Congo: This is the second of the two national forest reserves of the Congo in the northern region that provide a unique jungle experience to every visitor here. This ancient forest has plenty of trails for walking and hiking leading to spots that are rich in wildlife.

Loufoulakari Falls In Congo: Just at the confluence of the Lofoulakari River and the Congo River in south-western Brazzaville, you will come across one of the most spectacular waterfalls that will leave you spellbound.

Charles De Gaulle House In Congo: This is a beautiful building and now it has become the place where the French ambassador resides. This one was originally the house of Charles de Gaulle when Brazzaville used to be an important city of France in the 1940s during World War II. It is located in the capital and it is an ideal example of the architecture of the times in which it was built.
