Itinerary
Land at Goma International Airport, After breakfast, you will drive alongside Lake Kivu toward the Democratic Republic of Congo border and cross to Goma immediately and have lunch at Nyumbani Restaurant. Later on driving some 2 hours to Kibumba Tented Camp in Virunga National Park.
Mountain Gorilla trekking: Early morning drive to the trekking point and got to meet mountain gorillas in the jungle Return at lunch time and stay at Kibumba Tented Camp.
Nyiragongo Hiking up: After breakfast, you will go to hike the most active volcano in Africa and visit the largest lava lake in the world. You will spend almost 6 hours to reach the summit and check in the shelters near the crater rim. After sun set, the view will be fascinating to retain you some hours before your dinner to be ready.
Retire in cabins shelters at the top
Nyiragongo Hiking down, pass your covid test and Transfer to Tchegera Island. After an early breakfast, you will start hiking down and reach out back at the Kibati post where you will comment about your experience before transfer to Tchegera Island. Before Tchegera Island you will pass a Covid PCR TEST. Spend the evening on leisure and overnight in luxury tent.
Drive to the airport and fly to Entebbe
Go to stay in Kibale Forest National Park. After breakfast drive to Kibale Forest National Park,home to the largest number of Chimpanzees. Stop at the Equator sign post for a quick picture.
Retire at Chimpanzee Forest Lodge.
Chimpanzee trekking. After breakfast, go to visit the largest family ofchimpanzees in the world. After noon: drive some 3 hours to Queen Elisabeth National Park. Stay at Ingiri Lodge.
Morning game drive and Kazinga Channel. After breakfast, go for a morning game drive, trying to spot animals, visit the Katwe salty crater. Have Lunch at Katungulu community restaurant near Kazinga Channel.
Chill at the Hotel before going for an evening boat
ride within the Kazinga Channel. You will have chance to spot animals like Elephants, cobs, birds, buffaloes and some many others swimming in waters. Evening at Engiri Lodge.
Morning Game drive toward the South. After breakfast, drive through the park slowly until the south and check in one of the Kihihi community
Lodges.
Go for an evening game drive trying to find the climbing lions. Over evening inside the Kihihi Lodge.
Drive toward Lake Bunyonyiand go for the afternoon within the pygmies Village. After breakfast, drive to the beautiful lake Bunyonyi and byboat, access the village of pygmies. There you will have an incredible cultural, traditional and entertaining evening with them.
Overnight stay at Island at Heritage Lodge.
Drive straight to Kampala, pass a PCR TEST and stay at forest Cottages.
Visit the city center and transfer to Entebbe. Visit the Victoria beach before check in the airport.
