Main Info
Nyiragongo is a beautiful stratovolcano containing the world’s largest lava lake. The volcano’s lower forested slopes are home to a variety of animals, including chimpanzees, several species of monkey, the three-horned chameleon, bushbuck and a myriad of bird species, making the walk to the top of this mighty mountain all the more gratifying.
This package includes trekking to the volcano, visit to Tchegera Island and a city tour to Goma. First day accommodation will be provided at Cabana at volcano site and second day at Tchegera Island.

Itinerary
Arrive in Goma and transfer to Kibati Ranger post-trek up to the Nyriagongo summit, overnight stay in cabana at the top.
Trek down and transfer to Tchegera Island and overnight stay.
Goma city tour and transfer to the airport.
